Cardiocity were delighted to be invited to take part in the Heart Rhythm Week at the Terrace Pavilion at the House of Commons. This year, the Heart Rhythm Week Launch Event took place on Wednesday 25 May in the Terrace Pavilion at the House of Commons.

The focus for the 2016 campaign was atrial fibrillation (AF), the importance of knowing your pulse, and making sure AF patients are quickly diagnosed, fully supported, and appropriately anticoagulated – most importantly staying on their therapy to reduce the risk of AF-related stroke.

Whilst at the event we were delighted to be able to demonstrate our Rhythm Pad to the Right Honorable Barry Sheerman MP, who is the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Atrial Fibrillation – whose main aim as Chair, is to raise awareness of AF and ensure the diagnosis, care, treatment, management and research of AF is a priority for the NHS.
